Pre-order your favourites before you arrive, and have everything ready for a relaxed meal after a day of exploring the bush. Pair it with a fire, a good drink and the people you're here to enjoy it with, because your getaway should be about making memories, not worrying about what’s for dinner.
Our Bush Bites experience is designed to work hand-in-hand with the braai ovens available at our glamping units and Safari Camplet, giving you a fun and effortless way to prepare your meals.

Bring along your own frozen meals, ingredients or homemade creations, from roasts to your own pizzas, and make use of the cooking facilities available at your accommodation. It's one more way to add a little extra diversity and excitement to planning your meals in the bush.

Our pasta portions are recommended for 1–2 people, depending on appetite.
Our pizzas are a large 30 cm pizza, suitable for one person or potentially two depending on appetite and what else you're enjoying with your meal.

The Adventure Camp does not have a braai oven. It is equipped with a gas stove, gas braai and a regular braai. -
Yes, selected Bush Bites meals can still be enjoyed at Adventure Camp. Pastas can be prepared in a pot on the stove or in the gas braai, but the Adventure Camp does not have a braai oven for pizza preparation.

No. Our glamping units and Safari Camplet do not have a microwave or conventional oven. They are equipped with a gas stove, regular braai, and braai oven.

Absolutely. Bush Bites is not the only food you can prepare at Leadwood.
Guests are welcome to bring their own frozen food, ingredients and meals to prepare using the cooking facilities available at their accommodation. You can even bring your own pizza toppings, homemade pizzas, roasts or other meals you'd like to enjoy during your stay.

The braai oven works beautifully for more than just Bush Bites pastas and pizzas. You can use it to prepare your own pizzas, roasts and other meals you'd like to cook during your stay.

Yes, but please keep in mind that Adventure Camp does not have a braai oven. Pasta options can be prepared using a pot on the stove, or in the gas braai while pizza preparation using the braai oven is only available at the glamping units and Safari Camplet.
